Planting the Seeds of Friendship

Your tax-deductible contribution to the Operation 2000 Cherry Tree Project will do more than plant a tree. It will help strengthen the bond between two countries half of a world apart.

All contributions will be directed to The Dayton Foundation, a respected not-for-profit entity dedicated to improving the Dayton region’s quality of life since 1921. In accordance with its code of conduct, The Dayton Foundation will disperse the funds only to not-for-profit organizations or municipal governments. These donations will be based solely upon the discretion of the Operation 2000 Cherry Tree Project committee

The project will be able to purchase, plant, and maintain the trees for an affordable cost. There are several ways in which you can donate:

STANDARD DONATION

We recommend a $300 donation for each cherry tree, but welcome any amount to help us achieve our goal.

$500 MEMORIAL DONATION

For $500, we will not only plant a cherry tree, but also memorialize it with a personalized plaque. Should you choose this option, please signify any personalization details in the donation form linked below and we will be in touch with you to coordinate the plaque design.
